In 1972, two brothers from New Jersey moved west to Nevada and opened a submarine sandwich shop in nearby Sparks, they called it the "Sub Shop".
They brought with them the "original subs" from New Jersey, submarine style rolls, provolone cheese, boiled ham, capocolla, pepperoni, and dry salami. An ample amount of lettuce, fresh cut tomatoes, red onions, topped with vinegar, oil, salt, pepper and oregano.
On October 2002, Bill Kearns opened "Jersey`s Deli Fresh Subs" making quality sandwiches with fresh ingredients, for Californians in search of the Orignal East Coast Sub.
